What’s a Rich Text element?

In 2023, brands are striving to find new ways to engage with their community and offer fans rewards for their loyalty. Nielsen research suggests that 84% of consumers are more likely to stick with a brand that offers a loyalty program. However, despite this, only 15% of loyalty rewards are redeemed, demonstrating a need to offer more appealing, customer-owned benefits driven by authentic community connection.

That’s why Co:Create has developed a comprehensive API toolkit for virtually any brand to launch new, innovative rewards & loyalty campaigns — powered by our flexible, API-first community activation & rewards platform.
  1. First off. Campaign APIs allows brands to easily reward their customers for taking specific actions, acting as an innovative loyalty system. Typically, launching and maintaining such campaigns is a complex and time-consuming process; however, our Campaign APIs can help brands save signifcant time and resources.
  2. The next significant API within our toolkit is Redemptions. This enables brands to reward users with desirable and rare digital assets by allowing them to quickly redeem their fungible ERC-20 tokens for non-fungible ERC-721 or ERC-1155 tokens without the need to pay gas fees on the blockchain. For example, the Redemption APIs can allow gamers to redeem their achievement-based tokens for special in-game assets such as unique characters, weapons, or skins represented as ERC-721 or ERC-1155 assets. It can also empower retail companies to manage their loyalty program rewards, allowing customers to earn ERC-20 tokens for purchases and redeem them for digital goods, such as exclusive products, discounts, or services represented as NFTs.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

If the world is going to get onboarded to web3, it must become easier for brands and their customers to easily plug-in to — and experience the full potential — of web3 enabled environments that don’t require an engineering degree to navigate. Co:Create’s mission is just that: to help brands unlock the power of community to build self-own reward experiences into their products, events, and audiences.

It’s a similar ethos in many ways to Shopify, which changed the game with e-commerce by letting anyone easily spin up an online store to start selling products and accepting payments without dealing with complicated and cost-intensive channels. So you could say Co:Create’s new Shopify app is a match made in flexible and accessible tech heaven with its addition to the e-commerce platform’s app store, where the world’s brands and creators can utilize a dynamic suite of web3 rewards, access, and loyalty-focused features to connect directly to their products and exclusive drops.

What does that look like exactly? Say you are selling a new line of snowboards, for example, like in the image below. Instead of simply enabling anyone to buy your new board, you want to limit sales to customers who qualify via a specific set of community and loyalty-focused eligibility factors.

In the example below, for illustrative purposes, is a theoretical Co:Create partner called Snow Season. To help drive engagement and recognize loyalty to Snow Season, the brand could decide to drop a super limited run of token-gated snowboards. This means that only prospective customers who held the Snow Season Token Pass in their web3 wallet (which they would connect upon logging into Co:Create’s Shopify App) would gain access to buying the board.

Through this exclusive, community-powered access feature, Co:Create could help Snow Season set up a very specific set of reward access criteria, based on the specific tokens community members hold in their wallets (or tasks they perform), to unlock product access, rare rewards, and even gifts based on community members’ level of participation, engagement, and loyalty. This could offer (theoretical) brands like Snow Season even more hands-on control and visibility into segmenting their community rewards and access across product drops directly on the Co:Create app on Shopify.

If you’re a brand or creator who prefers your features in list form, all of these dynamic features can occur via Co:Create’s arrival on the Shopify App Store — — and they’re ready for your brand to deliver:

  • Launch token-gated rewards and access the store in minutes — with no code required 🚀
  • Create rewards criteria based on specific tokens — like ERC-721 and ERC-1155 ⚙️
  • Create advanced rewards rules — i.e., qualify customers by combinations of different token ownership requirements 🧠
  • Easily deliver token-gated offers without a direct wallet connection required 😌
  • Token gate multiple products & check for multiple NFTs in one app 🔍

And that’s just the beginning! If you’re a brand looking to supercharge your community and how they can engage with your products in a familiar, intuitive environment that captures the best of web3-enabled loyalty and accessible web2 e-commerce, go check out Co:Create’s new Shopify app today.
